H.E. George W. Bush
The President of the United States of America August 17, 2006
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington DC 20500

Your Excellency, Mr. President,

I am highly honored and privileged to write this letter to your excellency. As a matter of fact this is my second letter following the one I sent through the US Ambassador to Korea in November, 2005 in which I especially informed your excellency of the reason why Korean President, Mr. Roh Moo-hyun and his administration had paid extreme attention to boosting the anti-America sentiments and building the base for the communization in South Korea. At the same time, as a small token sincerely offered by the freedom loving people of Korea, we had delivered a relief fund for flood victims of New Orleans city hit by the hurricane' Katrina'.

As I seriously worried in the previous letter, President Roh Moo-hyun with his ill-advised emotional manner, is bringing every possible effort to dismantle the ROK-US Combined Forces Command. This proves to be Mr. Roh's prepared plot to accomplish his goal by aggravating ROK-US relationship. In this regard we would like to courteously urge the United States to resolutely cope with such a sly approach.

Before getting into the main points, and for your excellency's reference, I would like to briefly introduce myself again. I now reside in Seoul, South Korea. I graduated from Korea Military Academy(KMA) in 1966, and obtained master and doctorate in system analysis at US Naval Postgraduate School(NPS) located in Monterey, California during the period I served with the rank between army captain and lieutenant colonel. I retired from the service with a rank of full colonel in 1987.

As one of the military commentators in Korea I am now running a civic organization called 'Outcry for Democracy' established with a strict purpose to save our fatherland, the Republic of Korea being deteriorated by the leftist's administration. I know your excellency will find this letter quite lengthy, for which I would like to earnestly solicit your excellency's generous understanding. Recent insecure environment stemmed from the incumbent's inappropriate political behaviors has prevented me from writing a simple letter.

Mr. President, it is an undeniable fact for the entire South Koreans of 48million to realize that we Koreans have sustained our lives indebted to the United States for the firm deterrence maintained on the Korean peninsula for more than a half century, for which we Koreans are endlessly grateful.

However, Mr. President, we, the innocent Koreans are experiencing ever unbearable difficulties and social disorders mainly because of President, Roh Moo-hyun who has started destroying the long-lasting alliance relationship that has been amicably maintained for last 57 years between the two countries, the Republic of Korea and the United States.

Mr. Roh's current political behaviors are not only illegitimate, but also a total destruction of a nation that has proudly achieved great many developments in many aspects.

To tell the truth, Mr. Roh is just a heretic bearing terrible hatred over the Republic of Korea, and a partisan who has a strong conviction towards North Korea as if it were his fatherland. Mr. President, being faced with an urgent situation, we'd like to sincerely solicit your excellency to admit a positive fact that the intended dismantlement of the ROK-US Combined Forces Command in Seoul is just a conspiracy of the partisans in Mr. Roh's administration that has longed for a unification to be absorbed by the north Korean communist regime. Therefore, Mr. President, please know that the idea regarding such disbandment is not that of the entire patriotic Korean folks.

Unfortunately, in case the ROK-US alliance relationship is no longer effective or US troops' presence in Korea is no longer maintained on the Korean peninsula, we, South Korea will be hardly able to deter the north's hostile aggression by our own, but be rather quickly deteriorated by treading in the footstep of what exactly South Vietnam did back in 1975.

While South Korean military is equipped mostly with the conventional weapons, the North Stalinist is heavily equipped with various WMDs plus existing uncountable number of conventional arms. Consequently, it is crystal clear that the north communist regime will undoubtedly start threatening South Korea as soon as the ROK-US Combined Forces Command has been dismantled and therefore US Forces in Korea departed.

We honestly judge that the south Korean military's own buildup level is still insufficient to deter North Korean communist's aggression. If another war breaks out on the Korean peninsula again, the present ruler, Mr. Roh Moo-hyun will willingly decide to hand over the Republic of Korea to Kim Jung-il after disarming South Korean soldiers by making a poor excuse that a bloodless unification would be much better than a bloodshed one.

The very reason why the president Roh's administration has paid particular attention to the dismantlement of the Combined Forces Command lies in a fact that they have long wanted to have situations vulnerable in many areas. The North Korean dictator, Kim Jung-il is notorious for a slaughterer and a tyrant committing international crimes by counterfeiting the US currency and trafficking in drugs.

Although the tyrant, Kim Jung-iL has been caustically isolated by all international leaders, South Korean president, Roh Moo-hyun has only taken side with the North Korean communist regime by completely disobeying his fellow citizens' genuine opinions.

Your excellency, It is particularly reported that president Roh's administration consists of quite a few members who had been educated and cultivated especially by operational funds secretly supported from North Korea. In principle, with no exception, those who had been trained so by such funds bore deep hatred towards the US, but highly respected Kim IL-sung, the late North Korean ruler as if it were their adamant religious belief while these young guys were in college.

Surprisingly, President Roh Moo-hyun, from his childhood, started bearing hatred towards the society and assuming a defiant attitude towards the law as well. An interesting tale is still circulated that when Mr. Roh Moo-hyun was in an elementary school, he even cut one of his comrade's cute school bag with a box cutter because of his ill-natured character and jealousy.

An autography containing such a story has been displayed in a web site run by the presidential office. Information further reveals that his grandfather was treated with a contempt by the neighbours in his native home town of Gangjin, Cholla province, Korea as the villagers found a fact that the old man had acted like a puppet during the Japanese colonial period. Mr. Roh's father was too severely isolated in the said home town because of his heretical behaviors in the village so that he later became a partisan.

Moreover, his father in law was also a partisan. A record shows that Mr. Roh's father in law slaughtered more than 11innocent villagers at the first stage of North Korean invasion in 1950. As a result, it has become very simple for any Koreans to guess how these Mr. Roh's family folks including the in laws had been regarded by the countrymen.

Your excellency, Mr. President, needless to mention, those who had been treated with a contempt by the people might automatically bear a sort of hatred towards the society. In terms of this connection, what President Roh Moo-hyun has so far behaved can be immediately regarded as a retaliation towards Korean society. For this reason, President Roh ,as a series of his revenge, was not only about to deactivate the best university in Korea, Seoul National University, but also he keeps expressing heavily rooted hatred especially over the riches and the entrepreneurs in our society.

Furthermore, on top of this, he is going to divide the capital city of Seoul in two pieces. A positive proof like the plotted dismantlement of the Combined Forces Command does clearly prove to be a grudge towards Korean society and a manifestation of his faithfulness to North Korea which he must have long regarded as if it were his fatherland instead of South Korea. In accordance with a recent gallup survey, President Roh Moo-hyun is found to have barely obtained 7.2% of popular support. Such lowest popular support does reflect that he can neither represent Korea nor his fellow countrymen.

Your excellency, Mr. President, the targeting range located at Maehyang-ri, Korea where US air force used to get air striking training in the past was finally closed owing to the violent rallies committed by gangsters who basically demagogued the local folks under the direct support from the previous Kim Dae-jung's administration back in September,1999. Because of the heavily rooted hatred towards the US, President Roh Moo-hyun has not yet provided the US with an alternative firing range for the US air force stationed in Korea since its closure.

Mr. President, we Koreans are strongly determined to fight against the present administration until we have achieved a triumph. We will of course pour every possible effort to get a replacement target range for the US air force as quickly as possible. We, the entire patriotic Koreans fully comprehend the significance of the difficult situation the US forces are unprecedently experiencing now in the Republic of Korea. Although such unpleasant environments might irritably embarrass you Americans for the time-being, we would like dare to say please bear it with patience, and never try to render any cooperation to Mr. Roh's destructive policy.

This is our most desperate petition being submitted to your excellency. It is further advised that the lives of the south Korean population(more than 80%) are solely depending on wise decision to be made by the blood-bonded alliance, the United States of America. Your excellency, Mr. President, it is the Maginot line for the Koreans to deter the conspired dismantlement of the ROK-US Combined Forces Command(CFC) in South Korea.

Sincerely yours,

Jee, Man-won Ph.D.
